The latest news is in the air about the JioBook laptop, which could soon launch in India. The specifications were recently featured on the Geekbench listing and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Earlier there was news about operating system compatibility and speculations were that the JioBook laptop would run on JioOS (Powered by Android) but as per our research, the JioBook laptop is expected to be supported on the Android 11 platform and will run on the MediaTek MT8788 processor and 2GB of RAM hardware. JioBook is likely to be priced under Rs 35,000 as the company is targeting users who want laptops for online classes, internet browsing, and other basic computing needs

As per the specifications of the XDA Developers, the Jio laptop will feature an HD 1366x768 pixels display equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC along with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem but there are no details about the screen size yet.

For the connectivity, the laptop is expected to support mini HDMI for video output, support for WiFi over 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies, and Bluetooth. It is not sure that whether JioBook will support 5G or not but the earlier reports suggest that the JioBook may come with 4G LTE connectivity.

As per the results, the JioBook from Reliance Jio has reportedly scored 1,178 points in single-core and 4,246 points in multi-core tests.

Since this is a Reliance Jio product, JioBook will surely have the company's own apps such as JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages preloaded as well as there are some other speculated apps that include support for Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Office, and some more but we will have to wait for the confirmed news.

We researched and found that there would be three variants of laptops JioBook with model numbers NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM. As of now, the JioBook variant with model number NB1112MM has appeared on a Geekbench listing and its detailed specifications before the launch.
