Some days ago, we got an update from Gmail. In which we saw that Gmail has integrated the Google meet inside the Gmail app itself.
This is done by Google just to push engagement on Meet and make office video calls easier. But, it might be very annoying for someone who doesn't want any video calling option in their Gmail app.
In this article, I am going to share a method through which you can disable Gmail's annoying Meet tab on Android.
Follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Open your Gmail application, tap on the three-line menu on the top left corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on the ‘Settings’ option.
Step 3: Once opened, tap on the account in which you don’t want to see the ‘Meet’ tab.
Step 4: Under the ‘Meet’ subsection, disable the ‘Show the Meet tab for video calling’ option.
Hurray! You have successfully disabled Gmail's annoying Meet tab on Android.
