We all know the regret feeling after sending an Email by mistake or unknowingly because you can not unsend it like Instagram.

But, as per the new update by Google a new feature has been provided by the Google which allows user to undo it sent email in the Gmail application.

Although the undo feature provided by Google is set to 5 second as an default timing. It means you can undo any sent Email within 5 second only. But, do you know that you can extend that time limit?? Yes, you heard it right.

In this article I will be sharing the steps through which you can extend the timing of Undo.

Here are the steps through which you can do so.

Step 1: Open Gmail on your desktop.

Step 2: Click on the Settings button. It appears next to your profile icon on the top right corner.

Step 3: Click on “See all settings”.

Step 4: Under the “General” tab, you will notice an “Undo Send” section.

Step 5: Here, you can personalise the cancellation period.

Step 6: You can choose up to 30 seconds for the cancellation.

Step 7: After selecting the time, scroll down to click on Save Changes.

Hurray! You are all done. You have successfully extended the time period of Undo in you Gmail.
