So, here is how to keep an eye on other's status without letting them know.

Have you ever listened about Read Receipt . Yes you got it right , that blue tick feature that lets you know if your message has been read or not. The same you have to do here .

Step 1 . Go to settings

Step 2 . Move towards Privacy.

Step 3. Turn off Read Receipt.

Once you have done this then WhatsApp will stop your contact from seeing your name in the list of people who saw their WhatsApp Status. But, doing this also has a disadvantage which is you also won't be able to see the names of people who see your Status.
