What is eSIM?
eSIM stands for Embedded subscriber identity module. This type of Sim as the name suggests they will be already embedded in your Smartphone. This will save space in the smartphone and also provides some relief to the smartphone manufacturer's as no more SIM trays will be included in the smartphone. In case of any changes that may require removing or changing the SIM card when moving to different telecom providers can be done remotely by the mobile operator.
Jio, Airtel and Vi are the first three companies that offer the ability to convert your physical SIM to eSIM for devices that support it.
There are three Brand Smartphones that support eSIM functionality in India. They are
1.Motorola
2.Samsung
3.Google
4. Apple
The Process of using this eSIM for the different 3 telecoms are mentioned below.
Really Helpful.
