Reliance Jio became the only service provider in India that is offering In-Flight-Connectivity plans,which will be available for both the Prepaid and Postpaid customers of the Jio Telecom.

The In-Flight-Connectivity plans starts at RS.499 in which customer can enjoy data and calling benefits even while travelling in Jio's partner 22 Airlines.(It may not applicable to some of the airlines which includes Vistara and Indigo etc.)

Right now, Jio has partnered with popular airlines like Aer Lingus, Air Serbia, Cathay Pacific and so on, to allow customers to enjoy data, SMS and outgoing calling services.

The Plan details are as followed:

1. Rs 499 Plan : This plan offers a customer 250MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing voice calls and 100 SMS's for one day.

2. RS 699 Plan : This plan allows the users to consume up to 500MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing voice calls and 100 SMS's for one day.

3.RS 999 Plan : This plan comes with 1GB of data, 100 SMS's and 100 minutes of outgoing voice calls.

The JIO telcom is not offering incoming voice calling facility which is expected. Customers can make up to 100 minutes of outgoing voice calls while travelling.


As for Jio’s partner airlines, the telco currently has 22 onboard. The 22 airlines are as mentioned:
