Reliance Jio announced that from 1st January 2021 all the Jio users domestic voice call will be free. There will be no charge. In current situation Jio said that it was charging for non jio operator network. Now it have been announced that the from 1st January 2021 all the call from Jio number to other operator it will be absolutely free.
Jio had assured that charges will be applicable till the the time Trai abolished IUC charges, Reliance Jio said in a release on Thursday. Now today it have been announced that “Today, Jio has delivered on that promise and made off-net voice calls free again.”.
This will consider as the new year 2021 gift given by Jio to it's users.
This will application to all the majority of smart phone users to enjoy the on net free voice calling feature from 1st January 2021. Currently Jio is charging 6 paisa per minute to make a call to other network.
Now Why Jio Non Jio voice calling is free? This why that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) has passed the Bill & Keep policyand as per this new policy, the IUC charges will now be nullified.So all the Jio users can use Jio to Non-Jio calling for free instead of paying for it earlier.
As per FUP (Fair Uses Policy) Jio users were getting some calling minutes for free as per the recharge plan. In this Jio keep IUC fees from users. Jio didn’t charge any additional fees on IUC to there users.
